The Area Agency on Aging for Southwest Florida is offering a free twelve-week Tai Chi: Moving for Better Balance workshop in Fort Myers. Participants will meet on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, starting January 15 at Grow-Within in the Parkway Plaza (10251 Metro Pkwy, Ste. 121).

About Tai Chi: Moving for Better Balance
Tai Chi is a low-impact form of Chinese martial arts that involves slow, controlled, flowing movements. Tai Chi: Moving for Better Balance is a basic beginner falls-prevention workshop designed for adults 60 and over. The eight Tai Chi movements have been shown to assist with balance. Tai Chi can also help improve hand-eye coordination, enhance health and fitness, reduce stress and provide a gentle aerobic workout. Tai Chi: Moving for Better Balance is a 12-week, 24 session workshop.
