SHINE (Serving Health Insurance Needs of Elders) is a free program that can help you evaluate your benefits, choose a plan, and even apply for programs that can save you hundreds of dollars on your health care costs. Wonder what free benefits are available to you? A counselor can explain some of the benefits of your Medicare plan, including preventative services. As part of the national Senior Medicare Patrol program, SHINE counselors can also assist with detecting and reporting Medicare Fraud.
