A class for family caregivers
Powerful Tools for Caregivers is a FREE educational program designed to help family caregivers take care of themselves while caring for a friend or relative. You will benefit from this class whether you are helping a parent, a spouse, a friend, someone who lives at home, in a nursing home, or across the country. Workshops will teach you how to:
Reduce stress associated with caregiving
Balance your life
Improve your self-confidence
Better communicate your feelings
Increase your ability to make tough caregiving decisions
Locate helpful resources for caregivers in your community
This class series meets once a week for six weeks. Class size is limited, and registration is required.
Powerful Tools for Caregivers workshops begin July 22 and continues on Mondays through August 26 at the Beacon of Hope United Way House (5090 Doug Taylor Cir., St. James City)
