The Area Agency on Aging for Southwest Florida is offering a free twelve-week Tai Chi: Moving for Better Balance workshop in Cape Coral. Participants will meet on Monday and Wednesday afternoons, starting March 4 at the Hope Cape Community Room (2430 Diplomat Parkway E.).

About Tai Chi: Moving for Better Balance
Tai Chi is a low-impact form of Chinese martial arts that involves slow, controlled, flowing movements. Tai Chi: Moving for Better Balance is a basic beginner falls-prevention workshop designed for adults 60 and over. The eight Tai Chi movements have been shown to assist with balance. Tai Chi can also help improve hand-eye coordination, enhance health and fitness, reduce stress and provide a gentle aerobic workout. Tai Chi: Moving for Better Balance is a 12-week, 24 session workshop.
