DESCRIPTION:Your chronic condition doesn’t need to rule your life!\nAre you living with a chronic health condition?\nDo you want to spend fewer days in the hospital and less time with doctors? \nJoin the Area Agency on Aging’s Chronic Disease Self-Management Program for a FREE six-week workshop to help you better manage your pain\, health\, frustration\, fatigue\, and feelings of isolation. \nSpace is limited and registration is required for this six-week program. To register\, see below. \nIf you age 60+ or have a disability\, and are living with any of the following conditions\, this workshop can help you learn to manage your condition: \n\nArthritis\nAsthma\nDiabetes\nLung Disease\nHigh Blood Pressure\nDepression\nObesity\nHeart Disease\nStroke\nOsteoporosis\nChronic Pain\n…or any other chronic condition.\n\nThis free six-week workshop will meet on Tuesdays at from Jan. 7 – Feb. 10 at the Verandas of Punta Gorda. DESCRIPTION:The Area Agency on Aging for Southwest Florida is offering a free eight-week Arthritis Foundation Exercise Program workshop in LaBelle. Participants will meet on Tuesday and Thursday mornings starting January 9 at Hope Connections. \nSpace is limited and pre-registration is required. See below for registration information. \nAbout the Arthritis Foundation Exercise Program:\nMany older adults experience pain and stiffness resulting from Arthritis. The Arthritis Foundation Exercise Program is designed for adults 60 and over to reduce pain and stiffness\, build strong muscle around their joints\, increase energy\, and reduce the risk of developing other health problems. \nThe Arthritis Foundation Exercise Program is a eight-week evidence-based class led by a certified instructor.
