DESCRIPTION:Get Free Counseling on your Medicare Options\nMedicare Open Enrollment is from October 15 through December 7 each year.  This is the best time for Medicare Beneficiaries to carefully evaluate their health care needs.  Beneficiaries can get free help evaluating their Medicare plans and coverage at Open Enrollment Events hosted by the Area Agency on Aging for Southwest Florida and SHINE (Serving Health Insurance Needs of Elders) \nOpen Enrollment Counseling sessions feature specially trained SHINE volunteer counselors who provide free\, unbiased information and assistance to Medicare beneficiaries.  Counseling is provided by appointment only at this site.
