DESCRIPTION:A class for family caregivers\nPowerful Tools for Caregivers is a FREE educational program designed to help family caregivers take care of themselves while caring for a friend or relative. You will benefit from this class whether you are helping a parent\, a spouse\, a friend\, someone who lives at home\, in a nursing home\, or across the country.  Workshops will teach you how to: \n\nReduce stress associated with caregiving\nBalance your life\nImprove your self-confidence\nBetter communicate your feelings\nIncrease your ability to make tough caregiving decisions\nLocate helpful resources for caregivers in your community\n\nThis class series meets once a week for six weeks.
