SUMMARY:Tai Chi: Moving for Better Balance classes begin (CAPE CORAL)
DESCRIPTION:The Area Agency on Aging for Southwest Florida is offering a free twelve-week Tai Chi: Moving for Better Balance workshop in Cape Coral. Participants will meet on Monday and Wednesday afternoons\, starting March 4 at the Hope Cape Community Room (2430 Diplomat Parkway E.). \nSpace is limited and pre-registration is required. To register\, see below. \nAbout Tai Chi: Moving for Better Balance\nTai Chi is a low-impact form of Chinese martial arts that involves slow\, controlled\, flowing movements. Tai Chi: Moving for Better Balance is a basic beginner falls-prevention workshop designed for adults 60 and over. The eight Tai Chi movements have been shown to assist with balance.  Tai Chi can also help improve hand-eye coordination\, enhance health and fitness\, reduce stress and provide a gentle aerobic workout.   Tai Chi: Moving for Better Balance is a 12-week\, 24 session workshop. \nTo Register:\nPre-registration is required.
