SUMMARY:Tai Chi- Moving for Better Balance
DESCRIPTION:Tai Chi- Moving for Better Balance is a FREE 12-week\, evidence-based wellness class. The workshop is designed for adults 60 and over\, to help assist with balance and movement.  Tai Chi- Moving for Better Balance is a basic beginner fall prevention workshop\, consisting of eight Tai Chi movements. \nDates & Times\nClasses held Mondays/Fridays from 2:00 to 3:00 at Charlotte Towers\, in the Charlotte Towers meeting room.  January 22 is the first class. \nTo Register:\nPre-registration is required. SUMMARY:Bidders Conference (2018 RFP)
DESCRIPTION:The Area Agency on Aging for Southwest Florida (AAASWFL) will host a bidders conference on January 29\, 2018 for prospective bidders for the 2018 Community Care for the Elderly Program RFP. \nContingent upon the availability of funds\, the AAASWFL for Planning and Service Area 8 will be contracting and is soliciting sealed proposals for Case management/Lead Agency Designation for Charlotte\, Collier\, DeSoto\, Glades\, Hendry\, Lee\, and Sarasota Counties beginning July 1\, 2018 under the Community Care for the Elderly Program\, Florida Statute 430.  RFP’s are being solicited for Lead Agency in the above mentioned counties. \nThe bidders conference for will be held on January 29\, 2018 at 1:00 p.m.at the AAASWFL North Fort Myers Office (15201 North Cleveland Avenue\, Suite 1100\, North Fort Myers\, FL 33903).  Attendance at the bidders conference is not mandatory. \nSealed proposals are due to the AAASWFL\, 15201 North Cleveland Avenue\, Suite 1100\, North Fort Myers\, FL  33903 by 3:00 p.m. on March 2\, 2018 with opening immediately following.  The Area Agency on Aging for Southwest Florida reserves the right to reject any and all proposals not complying with specifications and requested information.  Any questions concerning this request may be addressed in writing to Becky MacKenzie\, Director of Programs and Planning at: becky.mackenzie@aaaswfl.org. \nProposal documents may be obtained electronically by downloading the following file: 2018 AAASWFL RFP Documents (.zip file).
