Helpline (Information & Referral call center) Specialist (full-time)
AAASWFL is seeking an empathetic specialist to provide information, referral and intake services to consumers, their caregivers and other professionals. The specialist needs excellent interpersonal and computer skills to provide non-biased information.
Information and Referral Specialists are the “face of the agency,” often serving as peoples’ first point of contact with AAASWFL. I&R Specialists primarily work with consumers via telephone; they are excellent, unbiased listeners who strive to provide excellent customer service through the Agency’s Elder Helpline.

Program Specialist (Quality Assurance, Compliance and Training)
AAASWFL seeks a diligent, detail-oriented individual to perform quality assurance, compliance, and training tasks. Completion of an online assessment is required for all potential applicants (see below).
The Program Specialist assists the Director of Programs to evaluate government-funded elder care services for compliance with grant requirements. This person studies the requirements, rules and regulations that govern each grant, and evaluates the administration and management of these programs. The Program Specialist also provides support and technical assistance. This includes group trainings to sub-grantees, subcontractors, service providers and vendors to ensure continued compliance. This position requires a high degree of organizational and analytical skills, attention to detail, and initiative.
