Health & Wellness Coordinator (Part-Time)

The Area Agency on Aging for Southwest Florida (AAASWFL) seeks an energetic, outgoing, organized individual to present and assist with the coordination of health and wellness classes for older adults, and perform outreach on behalf of the Agency. This is a part-time position based in North Fort Myers, with travel required throughout the seven-county region.

Completion of an online assessment is required for all potential applicants (see below).

The Health and Wellness Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and implementing the Area Agency on Aging’s Health and Wellness initiatives.  The Health and Wellness Coordinator is expected to lead workshops and also recruit volunteer leader/instructors.  The Health and Wellness Coordinator also tracks and reports outcomes and deliverables, builds community partnerships, schedules workshops, conducts presentations about the Agency, and represents the Agency at community events such as health fairs.  This is an hourly position on the AAASWFL Communications & Outreach staff.  The pay range for this position is  $14.50-$16.00 hourly.
