Powerful Tools for Caregivers
AAASWFL will request a Direct Service Waiver to provide Powerful Tools for Caregiversunder the Older Americans Act Title III-D: Disease Prevention and Health Promotion Services. Powerful Tools for Caregivers is an evidence-based education program that provides individual strategies to handle unique caregiver challenges and develop self-care tools.
The public is encouraged to attend and provide comments concerning the above service. AAASWFL provides services for adults 60 and over and adults with disabilities in Charlotte, Collier, DeSoto, Hendry, Glades, Lee and Sarasota Counties. Any person requiring special accommodations to participate in this hearing is asked to advise AAASWFL at least five days before the hearing by calling 239-652-6900.
